Boosting your vitality and raising your vibration through gong and sound meditation ~ learning to listen to the language and landscapeof your soul.

It is so incredibly important to give yourself recovery time everyday. Time to swtich-off and practice 'non-doing' so that you can rest and repair.


We need to cultivate a daily practice of allowing our body, mind and nervous system to relax and heal itself. Otherwise we can remain in a state of stress, tension, anxiety and imbalance constantly.

At home, every day is all about multitasking. At work, you’re the Jack/Jill of all trades. In between, there are appointments, errands and social gatherings.

and that’s just some of the many physical and mental aspects of your life.


If you add in your emotional state, which is likely overwhelmed by thoughts and feelings, then what you have is a non-stop lifestyle. This is routine that can do a serious number on your health if you don't take the time to just be still. 


Learning to access and cultivate our 'Yin' state. Hitting pause, even for just 15 minutes a day, can do wonders for your overall well-being.


Some may argue that 15 minutes to just be still is a waste of time. After all, you could use it to finish an errand. But while your tasks need to be done, your health and most especially your mental health—is just as important. 


Reserving 15 minutes for your ‘me time’ should also be your priority. Your well-being is something you need to value the most. By practicing gong meditation, you give your mind and body the chance to just be. 


So how can something relatively simple—you're basically just bathing in

the sound of an instrument, after all—be so effective?


Gong meditation works by using sound frequencies and sympathetic resonance to effect real and actual physiological changes within your brain and body.


When you meditate, you reduce the activities in your ‘default mode network’.

This is the part of your brain that is active when your head wanders.

It’s where your thoughts start to obsess over worries and regrets.  


Gong meditation lessens the chances that your anxiety develops into an actual illness. When your whole being is quiet, you strengthen your heart and immune system.


Ultimately, meditating daily improves your mind, body and spirit.
