Surrender to the ripples of joy and pleasure and brilliant healing magic that is Laughter.

Arguably the best feeling in the world is a carefree belly laugh.

Laughter is a joy to witness, it is contageous positivity, it effects us and rejuvenates our body on a deep cellular level.

Laughing releases stress hormones and many other bio-markers of stress and disease. Allowing us to step into the fullest expression of joy and flourishing that is the expression of laughter.

They say that laughter is the best medicine, but more than that, laughter stimulates good changes in your body—physically and mentally. It fortifies your immune system. It boosts your mood, and when you laugh, you heal your pain.

Laughter also protects you from the awful effects of stress and fear.  Like most people, you likely laughed a lot when you were little. You tittered and chuckled over just about anything.

But as we grow older, situations that warrant a good laugh become scarce. Life as a grown-up tends to be more serious and the carefree belly laugh turns into a rare occurrence.

Bring back laughter into your life with meditation.

It seems like a silly thing—why do you have to meditate just to laugh?

— However, laughter is you living in the moment. And meditation helps you realise how to be present in your own life.

When you meditate for laughter, you harness a powerful antidote to stress, discomfort and discord.

When you truly laugh, your mind is quiet, even for just a moment and it's in those precious seconds ofliminal space where we become entranced into meditation.

But it works the other way around, too. You can meditate to boost your sense of humour and fun. When you do, you awaken your innate happiness and creativity.

Meditating for laughter also gives you freedom. For a few seconds, your troubles melt away. A good laugh bathes your body with joy. It opens your heart, releases tension and allows you to experience deep, inner peace.
