Finding and cultivating clarity and peace of mind deep within you.
As you begin your Meditation, find a comfortable seated position, or laying down on a mat, eyes closed and relaxed. Let the sounds and vibrations of the gong wash over you.
As it sends its waves around you, you will most likely go into a deep meditative state and as your energies become clear, your body may twitch multiple times ~
This is the state when your thoughts wake up and you get sudden, and often new, insights.
This part of the meditation is when mental signboards pop up to show you a clearer path out of your jungle of thoughts. A gong has a specific pitch with dynamic levels and each level is like an invisible force that quiets the ripples of doubts and questions in your mind to make way for clarity and understanding.
On the outside world, your eyes are your windows. Will you be able to see clearly if you have dust in your eyes?
In the same manner, we are less able to comprehend things clearly when the nervous system, mind and body are stressed out in flight or fight mode. We begin to doubt ourselves and others, and start to operate from a fear-based survival instinct when the mind is overwhelmed with conflicting emotions and ambiguous thoughts.
Gong meditation can help you filter through these conflicts and ambiguity so can get to your ‘centre.’ When you have a centre, it will improve how you see the world inside out. You will be more open, sensitive and receptive to your feelings and even how others feel about you.
Having clarity means having a clearer comprehension of a situation and a better grasp of right from wrong.
Both are necessary when making decisions.
